A long-term efficacy study of the Activphy Hip + Joint Mobility Collar for the treatment and prevention of Osteoarthritis in dogs and cats found significant improvement in the behavior and mobility of the study group vs the control group. All dogs were tested according to the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index. During Ultrasound X-Ray examinations of problematic zones, examination showed a reduction of bone growths, the inflammatory process had stopped or was reduced, and the cartilaginous joint’s surface had become smoother and denser in animals enrolled in the efficacy group versus the controlled group. Most importantly, all owners in the efficacy group saw significant improvement over the course of 120 days and almost all observed a 50% improvement in mobility within 30 days.
